We just returned home from our backpacking trip into the High Uintas! We hiked in about 4 miles which took us a about 3 1/2 hours to reach our final destination. I swear it was all up hill both ways! It was challenging at times packing the weight, but super rewarding! We camped right off the shores of Island Lake. It is a beautiful place and definately worth the hike to get there. We did a little of everything while we were there and it turned out to be a great weekend. I'm super tired so i'll post more later.
David's pack was by far the biggest and heaviest of the bunch!

It looks so gorgeous there. The lake is so pretty. You look good too...geeze you look better than I do and you were camping! How fun. I am glad you guys had a great time!
