Tag, I'm It!

So I've been tagged by Julie G! Here goes...

10 years ago, or maybe 5 would be a better choice for me ( i choose to erase that time from my memory bank). So 5 years ago, I was a single mother of two sweet little boys trying to make it in this big ol world. It was a super challenging time in my life and if it weren't for David I probably wouldn't have made it through! I had just moved to Spanish Fork (somewhere I swore I would never live) and was living up above the Spanish Oaks golf course, working for Central Bank, and the proud new owner of the Bello Yuggy! (yellow vw bug). I had just returned from hell, where I had lost my home and my car along with a lot of emotional crap as well, and was trying to put together a new world for me and my kiddos. That is when my Happy Days began! I started to luv life again and appreciate everything that I had been blessed with. David and I were in the beginning of our journey together at that time and look where we are now! We have a happy family with great kids and have tons to be grateful for!

Things you might not know about me:
1. I fear water! As in bodies of...I don't care for it at all! I especially hate lakes and such that you can't see the bottom of. It freaks me out! I once took a class to certify for scuba to try to conquer my fears, but there still there.
2. I luv to be preggo. Even when i'm super sick and on bed rest, i still luv it. I luv that first kick and the overwhelming feeling of being in love it gives me.
3. I am addicted to a soap, Y&R, and it consumes my morning hour from 10-11. So if you call and i don't answer, you know why.
4. I am a die hard bargain shopper! Okay, maybe just a die hard shopper, but I always go for the bargains! I sometimes get mad at myself for spending so much time trying to locate an item that I just have to have! I have seriously spent whole days calling and hunting online for specific items and won't stop till I've found it and it's in the shipment to me!
5. I am a horse lover! I miss riding, but someday, I will have a place for them and be able to ride everyday again!
6. I am a reality T.V. Junkie! Yes, it's true, I live to watch shows like the "Bachelor" and "The Hills" and such! I luv it! I very rarely miss an episode, and if I do, I just watch it online the next day!

5 things on my to do list: 1. laundry 2. finish this post 3. finish travel plans to FL. 4. go for a walk 5. eat

What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionaire? Well, first I'd give 10% to the LDS church, because after all the Lord is the reason I would have it to begin with. I would try to be really productive with the funds, so I would probably seek some advice from someone with a little more control, like David. And I would probably only tell him I got 1/2 a billion! I would most definitely pay off all creditors and take care of a few friends and family members that have been there to support me and help me out when I needed them! It's always so fulfilling to give back. I would also give a chunk to charity! I'd get my boobs off layaway, take my kiddos somewhere fun, buy some new running shoes, put in a yard, restock the church nursery with new toys, buy my dream vehicle (White, 4 door, GMC Sierra 2500 HD Duramax, with an Allison Transmission) and put the rest in my sock drawer for a rainy day!

3 bad habits..1. Y & R (more like a guilty pleasure) 2. I make piles ( laundry, mail, random crap, whatever) 3. I am a Compulsive Shopper, I really need to join a group.

Places I have lived...1.Salina 2. Gunnison 3. Granger 4. Clinton 5. Mayfield 6. Ephraim 7. Santaquin 8. Payson 9. Provo 10. Spanish Fork (all in Utah)

Jobs that I've had.. Waitress - Carter's Cafe (high school days) ; Office Clerk for Utah Neurology & Electrodiagnosis Center; Dr. Asst. for Alta View EMG & Neurology; Billing Specialist for Provo Allergy & Asthma Clinic; V.P. of Operations for OneNetwork; CSR at Central Bank; Sales Associate at GAP; and last but not least my current position...Domestic Engineer or Goddess (depends on my hair & makeup situation)

There it is, don't you feel like you really know me now ? I'm not tagging anyone at this time because I don't want to pressure anyone. If by chance you want to be tagged, email me and I will revise this. :)

Slacker...

So I'm a slacker! What are ya gonna do about it? I have seriously been busy, believe it or not. Anyway, Update time... the Colbie Concert was a blast! Lizzy & I got the up front seats and it was amazing. The Tuachan is an awesome place! I can't wait to go back. I grabbed a brochure and have made a list of the many concerts and plays that my dear husband and I will be sure to see this year. If you all haven't been, you should go. So the girls weekend was super fun! The weather was great, the food was great and the conversations, well, lets just say "what is talked about on a girls trip, stays with those girls"! Shopping was amazing! The Gymboree outlet down there is the best, ever! And I got the cutest purse to top it all off! I luv it! It's Damask pattern! (go figure) All in all it was a great vacation away from everything for a few days. David even had dinner waiting for me when I got home. What a Sweetie!

Moving on...Bailey will be playing for the Reds this season! He is so excited! He thinks it's pretty cool that my grandfather pitched for the Cincinnati Reds and now he is pitching for the Reds! lol He's become a wild man with his curve ball! I luv the ambition that they have for sports. It's so fun!

Spring Break has been a blast so far...the boys have had tons of fun just playing with friends and hanging out at home. They leave tomorrow morning for there Disney Cruise and are way excited. Bailey is so nervous to fly, he can't think of much else. While Bridger is just thinking of the 24 hour ice cream machine that he gets to partake of. You gotta luv em! I wish it were me going to bask in the sun and eat ice cream all day. What a life!

Other than that, I've been working lots more and enjoying every minute of it. Sophie is still doing awesome with the potty thing. No signs of her reverting back to diapers as of yet. She is growing up so much. We seriously carry on full conversations and it is very seldom that I have her repeat herself cause I didn't understand. I've also given up one of my guilty pleasures and I'm still unsure how I feel about it. More to come on this subject..let's just say, it's been a really long day!

Tis the Season...for BaseBall!

brewers
So Bridger had his try outs for baseball on monday and boy was it an event! A three hour one to be exact. I guess i'm not understanding the whole try out thing for third graders, but whatever. Let's get our $55 dollars worth. Anyway, when his coach called yesterday to introduce himself and talk a bit about practices and what not, i failed to ask the all important question of whether or not Bridger was going to be pitcher. What on earth was I thinking not asking for this information? I mean really, he went and specifically tried out to be the pitcher, why wouldn't I ask? He wasn't to happy with me. Apparently, i'm just not with the program here! He got over it pretty quick when his dad showed up today with a team roster for him and he saw that one of his very best friends from our old neighborhood was on his team! He is so stoked now, they could tell him he was going to be the bat boy and I think he'd be just fine. I walked upstairs just a bit ago and he had all of his baseball cards spread out all over the floor picking out the Milwaukee Brewer's players and trying to decide which guy was the best so he could pick that number at the Uniform checkout. Still such a little boy that idolizes people for all the right reasons. It's so awesome! He's already got the Brewer's Fever!

Colbie Caillat

So the time has finally arrived...well almost, it's actually Friday, but I'm so sooper dooper excited to go, I wish it were now! I can't decide if I'm more excited about listening to the sweet sounds of Colbie or just being away from home for a few days? hmmm, probably both! I'm especially looking forward to the warmth, since Ashlee told me it was like in the 70's there. YeSSSS! Warm weather, sleeping in, shopping and dinner in public places without children! I'm long over due for a girls trip! And a road trip no less! Anywho, anyone wants a tshirt or some other paraphernalia from the concert, just holla. I'd be happy to oblige. lol
