Trick-or-Treat

Smile to melt your HeaRT!

Bridger thinks he's a real Football player when he puts on this costume. He was a big hit. Everybody would call him Steve Young!

Bailey is a DIE Hard RedSox fan!

Sophie luved seeing all her friends dressed up! She thought it was funny.

I hope you all had an enjoyable Trick-or-Treat day! We here at the Griffiths household had an amazing one! The kiddos had a blast and they all looked so good in there costumes. The school did a costume parade in the afternoon. It was fun to go and see all the kids dressed up. Sophie had a good time pointing at all the kids walking by saying "yook mama". Then it was home for trick-or-treating from 5 until 8. They boys got so much stinkin candy! I can't believe some of the things people give out these days! They had everything from cans of soda pop to tubes of toothpaste. It was an adventure to be "Treat Police" this morning inspecting there bags to look for treats that were bad. They had full size candy bars! Seriously! I must be cheap! But even with all that sugar they were in bed by bedtime. It was a good day! Sophie was a crack up once again. She caught right onto the whole thing. It was so funny to watch her march up to the door and open her bag. She would say "cheat" (treat) and then stand there waiting. She didn't quite get why they would drop it in her bag and not "openis" (open this) for her. It was so much fun just watching her. It gets me excited for next year and I don't much care for Halloween! The only thing missing from our day was visiting Spiderman (Jackson) & our little Monkey (Max)! Until next year....

Pumpkin Carving Fun!

Don't we all luv carving pumpkins? Well, I used to before I was responsible for cleaning up the mess! Those stringy pumpkin guts and seeds end up in places you'd never imagine. Oh, but how much fun and excitement for the kiddos (and David)! We had a good time, especially cracking up at Sophie. She had her first ever encounter with mushy gushy pumpkin guts. She played with them, tasted them, and threw them everywhere. It was a hoot watching her! The boys also enjoyed gutting them. They were making gross comments all night about the guts and what they felt like and smelled like. It was a blast! They are so excited for it to get dark so we can light them up for the world to see. I hope you all have as much fun carving yours as we did ours.

This is Funny!

My friend Melissa introduced me to this commercial. I had never seen it before now. I could seriously sit and watch this all day laughing my head off! I luv it!

Tu Tu's, Tu Tu's, and more Tu Tu's

It started out by just making a Tu Tu for Britty to take Sophie's pictures in. But 942 yards of tulle later, we have Tu Tu's coming out the WaZOo! I just couldn't stop and they are becoming quite the hit. I'm still working on the web page to display all the many shapes, sizes, and colors, but i'll let you all know when it's up. It has been so fun, yet crazy at the same time. Check out these pictures! Not only is Sophie the cutest thing ever, but Britty does such an amazing job with the photography.

Long Time, No Post!

Holy Cow, time flies by so quickly these days. I knew I had blown my weekly post but I hadn't relized it had been over a month. Sorry guys! So here's an update. Sophie and I just got over the stomach yuckies and hopefully nobody else will have to encounter them. Dan, Jackson, and Max all had it the week before, so I think it's had it's fun with the Griffiths Clan. David went right over to GoodEarth the morning after we got sick and stocked up on all kinds of potions. Poor Sophie smelled like a Pizzaria with all the garlic we rubbed on the bottom of her tiny feet. We couldn't help but laugh about it. It's amazing how you can rub that stuff on and within minutes you can taste it in your mouth. WoW! Glad we're done with that. Other than that, we're all still going about our daily routines. The boys are enjoying school, still, and David is working harder than ever. Lots of good things are happening with the business. Cody is doing amazing as always! He just got made Senior Companion. We were so thrilled when we got the letter. How blessed we are to have such an amazing missionary in our family. He is such a great example to all of us, especially the kiddos. We're very anxious for Halloween to get here. Well, i'm anxious to get it over with, but the kids are so excited to get all dressed up. The boys were invited to a Halloween party this past weekend and since we've been moving in slow motion lately, we still hadn't gotten them costumes yet. David dug out the football stuff for Bridger and poor Bailey was convinced to be a "Girl", yes, that's right, I dressed my son up in my clothes and he was a "Girl". It was hilarious. He didn't even have to wear a wig. His full head of hair was easy to work with. Sophie is going to be a Witch for Halloween. She is so cute. I can't wait for you all to see! Well, i'm going to sign out for now, but I promise i'll do better about posting. Luv you all!

Cody's ankle update..

Cody made another visit to the doctor on Friday. Because he had been to physical therapy, he was able to walk into the doctor’s office, so his ankle is improving. The doctor gave him the results of the MRI and the results look good. The doctor told him that there was nothing broke and no parts where missing so he should be just fine. He suggested that several more visits to the physical therapist would greatly improve his recovery. Cody has been out working since last week, nothing is going to get him down. President and Sister Francis think the world of him and love him for his hard work and strong dedication; they expressed their thankfulness over and over for sending such a wonderful missionary – we love our Cody!

Elder Griffiths...Missionary At Work

I started out thinking I was going to post on a daily basis, haha, that didn't last long. So now I am going to attempt to post weekly, at least give a brief update on our amazing Missionary, Elder Cody Griffiths...As you all know he is serving in the Pittsburgh mission of PA. He is currently serving in the Erie area. We recieve weekly email updates from Cody. They are all about positive, uplifting experiences with memebers and non members he and his companion are working with. They have had great success with baptisms. As much as we all miss him, we are very proud of him and his desire to serve our father in heaven. We were very sorry to hear that Cody injured his ankle this past week. He has been recieving physical therapy and now has limited use of it. Please keep him in your prayers so that he may be quick to recover. Until next week....

Sweet Sophie

I thought I would take a minute today to post the most recent pictures of Sophie taken by the amazing "Brittany G". Sophie is by far the cutest little girl, but Britty has an amazing talent when she picks up her camara and starts shooting. She captures the sweetness and innocence as well as Sophie's adorable looks (she got those from her mama) :) lol. We feel so blessed to have Britty apart of our family. Her talent is just an added Bonus!! Thanks Britty! Oh, in case anyone was wondering, Sophie's wardrobe.... courtesy of Baby Gap! lol

At Last...we have joined the Blogosphere!

Well, I finally have the ambition required to figure this whole blog thing out. I feel as if I have just been set free from the Dark Ages..or as it should be known from here on out, life before blogging (LBB):) We decided to do this blog so as not to be excluded from the rest of the modern world. We think this will be a fun way to keep everyone posted on the latest and greatest in our lives. This will be the best place to inform you all of the events and happenings taking place at the Griffiths household. I hope to blog daily, as if it were our journal. So spread the word, the G's have jumped on the blogging bandwagen. Although most will probably find it dull and mundane, a few may actually want to know what’s up. We want you to see our life for what it is.. joyful and hard, challenging and rewarding, chaotic and mellow! Enjoy!
