So Bridger had his try outs for baseball on monday and boy was it an event! A three hour one to be exact. I guess i'm not understanding the whole try out thing for third graders, but whatever. Let's get our $55 dollars worth. Anyway, when his coach called yesterday to introduce himself and talk a bit about practices and what not, i failed to ask the all important question of whether or not Bridger was going to be pitcher. What on earth was I thinking not asking for this information? I mean really, he went and specifically tried out to be the pitcher, why wouldn't I ask? He wasn't to happy with me. Apparently, i'm just not with the program here! He got over it pretty quick when his dad showed up today with a team roster for him and he saw that one of his very best friends from our old neighborhood was on his team! He is so stoked now, they could tell him he was going to be the bat boy and I think he'd be just fine. I walked upstairs just a bit ago and he had all of his baseball cards spread out all over the floor picking out the Milwaukee Brewer's players and trying to decide which guy was the best so he could pick that number at the Uniform checkout. Still such a little boy that idolizes people for all the right reasons. It's so awesome! He's already got the Brewer's Fever!
